Hired transportation is plentiful in the Coral Gables area. Limousines, taxis and town cars may be hired by calling a company in advance. Most limousine and taxi services have a flat-rate fee to the nearest airport for travelers leaving from Coral Gables. Several airport shuttle companies also service the city of Coral Gables. Boat and yacht transport can be arranged in advance for travel to Key Biscayne, which is directly across the Biscayne Bay from Coral Gables. Handicapped, senior citizen and paratransit private transportation is offered by the city, but must be requested in advance.
